KTM Presents the Zero Emission Offroad & Supermoto FREERIDE

One of the most important developing sectors in the motorcycle industry from a technical and sustainability perspective is that of electric motorcycles. KTM has thrown its considerable off-road weight behind this trend with the introduction of the two “Freeride” electric bikes, which weigh less than 100 kilograms and are comparable in output to a 125 cc two-stroke machine with a normal combustion engine.

The BMW C1-E, prepared for the European Safer Urban Motorcycling (eSUM), was designed to represent safe and environmentally friendly vehicles of the future.
Like the C1, which was produced 2000-2003, the concept has a number of safety features such as a roll-over bar, energy-absorbing nose to soften head-on collisions and seat belts.
